I have been browsing your site for about half an hour and haven’t noticed any instability issues. The site loads just fine and the images all load within a second. Have any of your clients reported the issue, or has it only been happening for you?
I also have been running some network diagnostic tools and have noticed no significant packet loss to your site.

Notification for custom notifications which you could possibly hook into Auto Post Expire.
That said, I don’t know your exact situation nor have I used these specific plugins before. They might have limitations that don’t meet your needs. If these don’t work, I suggest searching for relevant keywords yourself and seeing if you can find something better.
