In the tests I just performed, if the mediator enters without activating the microphone and camera (listen only) participants are not automatically directed, if released, no problems.

The only messages is “The meeting has not started yet. You will be automatically redirected to the meeting when it starts.” It is worth noting that the name and password disappear.
If you click join again, as the name and access code are blank, it’s like no data “The access code you have entered is incorrect. Please try again.”
