In reply to: Home page gone funny!I think I’ve found the answer to this.
In the fourth post down, there was some stray HTML – some <div> tags that weren’t closed. Once I edited them out, the homepage went back to normal.
I hadn’t touched that post for weeks, but I think the invalid HMTL must have only had an effect today because a new post pushed that one down to the final “full display” post position. I guess it must have affected the previews beneath, which must have had a knock-on effect on the sidebars.
Anyway – solved, I think.
WordPress tells me MLO has been patched for me too, but it’s not showing on the sidebar. I’m looking forward to your new version!
The new version will be brilliant – I’m looking forward to it. I’ve been sorry to lose MLO, and am certainly not tecchy enough do do this patch thing.
By the way, having multiple widgets will be a huge breakthrough. Thanks.
