Is there a specific procedure to reopen a “resolved” post (if it isn’t)?
Thank you for your answer.
I fully understand your argument but it’s why I propose this function as a temporally option as it’s often used in such a situation. This mean that the real typed characters are visible only the time you push on this option button.
Unfortunately as a lot of WordPress users I’m not able to write java code 😉
Regards
CBSorry Champ I have to reopen this ticket.
If there are several fields required in a form and all of them correctly filled, it is however not possible for an user to update any field he is allowed to. The message is “field-name is required” for all required fields (except the first one?) while all mandatory fields are correctly filled.
Could you examine this point please?

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] PDF links not update for Elementor posts and pagesSorry Gerard but clearing cache don’t solve the problem.
Each time the media to be replaced stay in a Elementor page or post it is not replaced and I got an error because the previous media file has disappeared from media library. I have to modify each link manually.
It would be great if you could address this issue!
RegardsSorry Champ but this ticket is not resolved.
This has nothing to do with “hiding the admin bar”!
I’ll try to explain my problem more clearly:
The point is: “what is the next page just after logging?”
My answer would be: It should be always the home page of the site.
But currently, it depends: if the user’s role has the box “Can access to wp-admin?” checked in his UM profile: the user goes straight to admin menu after logging, and that’s my issue.
Of course, it’s ok if I don’t check this box: the user is redirected to home page after logging but now if he is editor or administrator, he can’t no more access to admin menu.
I hope it’s clearer now.
Thanks a lot for your help.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] PDF links not update for Elementor posts and pagesThank’s Gerard for your support, you’re right, it was just a cache issue.
RegardsActually, I found a very helpful plugin that completely solved my issue: Prevent files / folders access.
For us the free version was widely sufficient and use is very simple: good to know! Thanks a lot for your very clear answer, sirlouie
I’ll look for a solution knowing that my issue is mainly on pdf files.I just intalled version 2.1.5 and now problem resolved!

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Incompatibility With plugin ‘FOLDERS’ and ElementorThank’s for your support.
This is not a Folders’s bug but it comes from previous use of a no more supported one: Enhanced Media Library.Yes Champ, I currently use version 2.1.4 and I still have this issue which is a big limitation for user management of personal data
With today update (v 2.1.2) this issue changed!
Please have a look on this new issue:
– a form has only one mandatory fields: “Zone Adhérent”
– an administrator has filled up this mandatory fields “Zone Adhérent”1 of the U1 user profile
– Users are not allowed to update this field “Zone Adhérent” on their own profile form but are allowed to update the “Description” field
– When this user U1 try to saved “Description” update he gets an error about “Zone Adhérent” saying this field is mandatory although this field is already correctly filled!
A bug, isn’t it?Thank you for your support
Yes, I enabled “Can edit their profile” in User role settings.
I done conflict test procedure with theme twenty fifteen and all plugins disactivated except Ultimate Member.
Unfortunately, the problem still remains and users can update their profile data.
I can’t go live with this issue…
Have you another way to look for please?Forum: Plugins
