In reply to: [Football Pool] updating matches via CSVok thanks! then If I want to update 10+ games, im thinking of uploading the whole season, past matches with results included, plus the updated ones (they are future matches but they exist already on the site) and chose overwrite. This would delete all past predictions BUT will update them back when I run the calculation again right? thanks as always!

In reply to: [Football Pool] User created groupsyes that exactly the kind of walktrough I was hoping, thanx a lot, the problem is I want them to also be part of the league, since they are playing for a price. But in a long season like the NFL once the top guys of the league start to separate from the rest, the “lower seeds” loose interest in the page, so if they can also be competing against his friends that would still keep them coming back and placing his predictions every week..

What I did was create match types , its an NFL site so every week I asigned the games to a different match type, type: week 1, type: week 2, thne I created a custom ranking to show only that match type. Then show the ranking with the shortcode adding the ranking ID to the shortcode. And that did the trick. Hope it helps!

Since I disable the pagination, I did it manually by usuing the prediction shortcode with games X-Y, then used tabs to show another shortcode with the next 10 games and so on. If anyone finds it helpfull.

(click on “Resultados”)when you click on the match score, it shows all the users predictions, but jumps to a different page instead of showing it inside the same popup. Thanxs a lot for your help!!

In reply to: [Football Pool] Monthly leagueyou can setup a ranking based on dates, like a ranking from X day to Y day via the pluggin shortcodes. You can pre-populate those shortcodes for the whole season and then just check every week, maybe in an accordion container by week. also you can tag the matches as “wek 1, week 2” on the match type, and then create a custom ranking for every match type. Hope it helps!
