In reply to: Moving posts to FaceBookYes I am using the SEO plug in. Does SEO have something to do with my sending pictures to FaceBook?
I have tried using the Featured Image selection. The image shows up in my web site but still does not show up in FaceBook, only the header image. I think I do not know exactly how to use the Featured Image selection. When editing the post description the Featured Image does not show in the edit box. If I add the image in the edit box then it shows up twice in my web site post, but still not in FaceBook. I’m at a loss. Suggestions please.

In reply to: Moving posts to FaceBookFirst, thanks for responding and please forgive my ignorance about WordPress. I see under “Add new post” the pane “Featured Image” and the Set Featured Image link to my Media Library. However I don’t think I ever indicated a featured image. I did use the image of the railroad map of Washington state as the header and page background, which may have given it a priority of sorts. I’m not sure what the “core Featured images” are and I don’t use any custom forms. When adding a new post I just insert a newly loaded image into the post which works fine on the web site. Do I need to designate a featured image each time I want an image in a post and how do I designate its location in the post? I’ll give it a try and see what happens. Is there a text somewhere on using the featured image tag? Thanks for your help.

In reply to: Permalink URL errorsThe second error is especially interesting since I am running the “Twenty Twelve” theme and have no idea where the Piccione-theme came from. Has my WordPress site been invaded by a virus of some sort.
Here is a new plug in error that I don’t even have as a plug in:

Does the Twenty Twelve theme have some security holes that let some of these in? I have just six plug-ins: Akismet; Jetpack; SEO ultimate; simple share buttons adder; WP Super cache; WP-DBManager. I seem to gaining several things I did not add.I will contact the simple-share-buttons-adder author.

In reply to: Permalink URL errorsThen how about these errors? Both reference WordPress and are about recent changes to plug-ins.

In reply to: Permalink URL errorsAs far as I can tell, or remember, these blog entries referenced were in 2011, before I started using WordPress in October 2015, and I had built my own web site using Dreamweaver. I don’t even have access to the links myself, and that site is gone as are these links, but all had the same URL address. Here is an example:
http://www.pacificcascaderailway.com/tag/frogs/
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Baiduspider/2.0; +http://www.baidu.com/search/spider.html)Second example:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Baiduspider/2.0; +http://www.baidu.com/search/spider.html)All are always Mozilla spider URL errors. Is there a way to tell Mozilla these links no longer exist? Thanks.

In reply to: Permalink URL errorsI guess re-saving the Permalink structure did not work to update the links as I have three new errors just this morning, Tuesday. Any other suggestions are welcome.

In reply to: Permalink URL errorsis the resolved now?
I guess I won’t know if the problem is resolved until I see that I stop getting URL search errors in my SEO plug-in. If your solution works, I greatly appreciate the help.

In reply to: Permalink URL errorsThank you Tara.
I went to the Dashboard>>>Settings>>>Permalinks and re-saved the same Permalink “Post Name” structure. Since I did not get any further instructions, I guess there is hope. I don’t understand why WordPress would update the .htaccess file now, when it did not do so the first time I saved the Permalink change. But, there is a lot I don’t understand, even when I read about it.
