I now understand what you’re referring to. Since I was strapped for time, I decided to re-do my pages and links.

In reply to: Pages, widgets, images links missing after restoreEsmi: I’ve read the documentation and observed the suggested recommendations. Another source recommended installing the ‘Regex’ plugin in order to ‘search and replace’ any stray items. The plugin worked by correcting 46 links to pages and such that were already part my site, but not the pages and images that are still in my Photocrati content folder that are not yet included in my WP site. As I mentioned, the files are physically there and I can see them, the images and all, but how the heck do I get tjem back? At this point, I guess I’ll have to rebuild my pages and re-introduce my images, etc. As they say, you live and learn.

In reply to: Pages, widgets, images links missing after restoreI’m a little confused as far as your reference to ‘database backup’. Before going foward with anything, I FTP’d/backed-up my entire WP site ‘database’ (if you want to call it that) to my local system. I verified the contents after the FTP session, and everything was there. Is the very same contents that re-FTP’d/restored to the new location. Is that what you wanted me to confirm, or are you refering to something else?

I consulted the information prior to executing the procedure and I was lucky enough to obtain assistance from my hosting support agent as well. As I mentioned, all the content is located in the same folders, so I’m scratching my head as to why some items are present while not others? The DB paths are working? It’s curious, since the from what I see, it looks like an older version of my site, though the content I FTP’d contains all the newer image files and such? The FTP copying is successful, as the identical files are now located in my new hosting path.
