To clarify – basically I want to make my “About” page in Magazine basic look like my “home” page but have it static so that I can have 6 static posts on it.

I would then like to create a template out of said page so that I can have static pages peppered throughout my blog as needed.

Not sure it’s possible but hope so!

    Hello

Thanks ajithkpunnoose for answering this – very kind and helpful!

I have managed to change the name on the category link as per point number 1 above but I am a little confused/don’t understand how to do point 2. I apologise! Very new to this.

When I visit my home page and View Source, I am unable to edit it in my browser so I save it to a .txt file.

From there I am not sure what the post entry stuff looks like and what exactly I need to paste in it;s place in order to create a template for static pages based on the layout of Magazine Basic’s main index.php.

Also once I have created such a template, what file format must I save it in and which folder on my server must I put it in?

Thanks very much — any help MUCH appreciated!
