It looks like there might be something blocking the image or perhaps overwriting the background image of the Buttonizer button?
Could you perhaps send us a link to a page with the Buttonizer button?

I’m sorry to hear you feel that way. Currently we’re working very hard on new features for the plugin and it’s constantly evolving, plus we continue to implement new features.
Since the last big release (v2.2.0) we’ve added a lot new free features and we keep improving the extension a lot, currently we’re adding handy features to the dashboard wich will make button management even easier.
Unfortunately we cannot talk about the premium functionalities on the WordPress forums due to their community guidelines, but we’d love to listen to what you think about the plugin and the critical part about it (as you call the ‘real features’).

We’ve just released version 2.2.3 which should fix multiple crashes and issues!

It sounds like the button or group id changed after your first edit causing it to have a different URL.
If you went back to the overview in the dashboard, were your buttons still there?
