The WooCommerce Sequential Order Numbers Pro plugin allows your store to have sequential, rather than random, order numbers.

In other words the normal installation has random order numbers, thats really great for any business tranasctions, HMRC will really love that too.

So to get what would normally be sequential numbers you pay an annual fee of $49, think I will look back on using the open source shopping carts, I can donate when I think the product is good for my needs.

Try before you buy is advisable for any software in my experience. Not every software works with what you have already.

Payments and things in my WordPress.org installation keeps referring to the other WordPress.com and that login. Quite a different profile and the two do not seem to be able to be merged.

If any of this helps others…

While in my WordPress.org pages, notifications coming to my email address are telling me things and a click on takes me to WordPress.com which is a mismatch, so maybe I need to come off the latter as the settings are not in the same accounts, but now realise they are using the same user email account.

PHP is now the highest version available.

Square has now tied in to woocommerce so as Mailchimp, stumbling around not sure exactly what I did what but all there now.

Go to my public store it shows only Stripe as a payment option, not square or paypal yet all three opted in, and on.

Pay with your credit card via Stripe.

More to do before even adding products, hopefully by using the CSV files from my original store, so a study what columns Woocommerce will accept.

Another steep learning curve.

https SSL now sorted.

Actually would prefer to use my paypal & stripe accounts for payments, already familiar with them, not Square although thats insisted upon.

Cant see yet where to make payal a payment, yet on same as stripe with square off, only stripe comes up in the shop options for visitors.

Not yet dealt with HTTPS, need to go to host support, not required for ZenCart
The PHP version had been set to work with ZenCart which now fails completely.
Child Theme issue, cant see there is one, I do not adapt core of any plug in.
