I am having the exact same problem, but with a theme I just purchased. Apparently it works for anyone else using it, and the author has suggested everything he can think of. I’ve updated to the latest stable versions of wordpress, php, apache, perl… all with no luck.
Since I’m not the author, or otherwise php savvy, what would you suggest I try to fix this? I have no idea where I’d find plugins to deactivate/reactivate as you did.
