Yes, you have to edit that file, but you also have to move it to your theme folder and include it from functions.php

I have almost the same issue. When I have several templates available, I can only load them once : After a first modification, if I want to change something else in another template, when I choose it from the dropdown list and click on ‘load’, the first template stays. I have to save the page and load it again to access to the other templates.
Do you have any idea to solve this issue ?

The image uploader didn’t work for me neither…
I’ve tried a lot of things, and I noticed that when I select “organize my uploads into month -and year- based folders” in “options” / “Miscellaneous settings”, the image uploader was working !!!!!!!!
It would be great if the uploader worked even when my wordpress is uploading its files directly into the folder I want… does it work the same for anyone else ?
