In reply to: Is it really WordPress?Very nice website. A few things to consider and look at, in my opinion. First the fonts for the menu and <h1> <h2>…. are not showing up great (I’m using the latest version of the Google Chrome browser). Secondly, you might want to consider putting a copyright notice at the bottom of the page just so everyone knows that the content belongs to Media 55 Enterprises. Third, there is an issue with the portfolio page. When I tried to view the increased size Media 55 Enterprises photo of the website, the video (which is above) was in the way of the photo. Fourth, some of the landing pages are empty or say under construction, but you might want to consider a mini sitemap feature. For example your page (http://media55.ca/media55.ca/wordpress/media55/) says under construction but you might want to put “See our full line of services: Web Design & Development, Video Production & Photographing, and Graphic Design” with appropriate links to the pages.
I LOVED the Web Price Calculator. GREAT idea and gives the customer/potential customer an idea of how much things cost. You might (if possible) want to re-affirm somewhere at the top of the page that the calculator is just an estimated price and actual price is based on customers specific needs.
The rotating photo background really grabbed and held my attention. Also, you might want to consider adopting a privacy policy. Before I buy anything from anyone, I want to make sure that my information will not be freely sold to everyone else. Having a privacy policy in place allows the potential customer to know that their information and payment information will not be spread throughout the internet. People do check them and ask questions about them from time to time.
All in all GREAT site.

In reply to: My Blog, about metal reviewsLooks good to me. I like how you put the Facebook ‘LIKE’ button at the bottom of every page so if someone really likes it, then they can easily share it with their friends. It is a clean design and easy to follow and understand.
One thing you might want to consider, you might want to change your Permalinks. There is nothing wrong with what you have now, but if you try to refer people to a certain page of your site, it would be a lot easier to give them a cleaner address like ‘http://metalprovider.net/contact’ rather than ‘http://metalprovider.net/?page_id=23’. If you do want to change it, just put in ‘/%postname%/’ in the Custom Structure field and your done. Like I said just a suggestion. Good Luck.

In reply to: Photography Website & BlogWOW!!! Seriously AWESOME!! Plus, I LOVE lighthouses and your photos are GREAT quality. The site looked and worked great except for two very small things, barely worth mentioning. First you might want to consider using a Favicon for your website, just to make it pop. You can find tons of plugins for this at (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=favicon&sort=). Secondly, the CAPTCHA on your contact form is great except for the Refresh Image button is hidden behind the input code box.
Like I said very little things but your website is GREAT!! You have some SERIOUS talents as a photographer. Good luck! 🙂

In reply to: my siteVery nice site. I noticed there was nothing in your products page, you might want to put ‘Products coming soon’ message or hide the page until you put something in it. Also, the background of the website was a little odd to me, not the white of the main site but the steel looking photo along the sides of the site. I would suggest something more neutral to not distract from the photos you are posting. Just a thought. 🙂

In reply to: j-aperture photography siteVery nice website. However, I was a little puzzled by the portfolio and blog page. They don’t seem to be the same format at the other pages or the homepage.
I love the j-aperture logo on each photo as I was clicking on them, near the bottom, to protect your images. Are you using a plugin for that or are you manually putting that in yourself, just wondering? If you are using a plugin – what plugin?
