  • Thanks for the suggestion, Greg. I know it is a security lockout of some sort but it doesn’t appear to be connected to Wordfence.

    I have disabled Wordfence without having any impact on the problem.

    I notice that the Calendar plugin is trying to execute an http request via what I believe is the JSON-API. Picking up that request and running it directly on the address line of the browser results in the correct action being taken.

    Still scratching my head over that one.

    I have seen the comment re iThemes Security in several topics. I don’t have it installed but I am using Wordfence.

    Same problem as I have seen in a number of places … I have several categories of events in my All in One Events Calendar. When logged in, I can query category but when not logged in I get the same 403 error reported above.

    “Something went wrong while fetching events.
    The request status is: 403
    The error thrown was: Forbidden”

    Tried your suggestion to stevenbill but no joy. Any thoughts…
