Has anyone else dealt with this? I am using the default theme, but the comment box simply doesn’t appear to leave comments. I’m sorry to bump this but it appears to have just dropped away without anyone noticing (or maybe just no one knows?).

Okay, scratch the last question. I found that setting. My question now is, I see how to hide or display the child category, but can anyone tell me if there’s a way built in to hide the child category on the homepage but display the child category when you go to the parent page?
I’m sorry if this is dense but…where are these PHP settings stored? The code itself makes sense but I can’t figure out where it is to edit it.
