This did the trick. I have installed Site Kit on multiple sites that had the same linking error. All are running successfully now.
Thanks so much for working with me to resolve this issue.
Hey James,
I have updated to Site Kit Version 1.11.1 and I still get the permissions error.
I reset Site Kit and started with a fresh connection to be sure.
Here is a screen shot:

Thanks, James. I appreciate your help shepherding me through this process.
Is there anything more for me to do? Am I to wait until Site Kit is updated with the bug fix?
Here’s what I see when I click the three dots and “View users account details”:

This is what I see when I then click “Edit, Collaborate, Read & Analyze, Manage Users.” :

It’s clear that my Change History shows that I do not have permissions to my Account when every other section of Google Analytics shows that I do have permissions.
How can I reset the permissions to show properly?
I moved the Better Georgia Analytics account from my personal account (where it was setup 9 years ago) to my Agency account this week, prior to beginning work on the Site Kit plugin. The goal was to have uniformity across all of my agency websites and their Google properties.
I have shared via screenshot all of the Change History notifications that relate to moving these accounts.
For the record, it was extremely challenging moving the Better Georgia account specifically. I encountered numerous problems and ultimately was only able to move the account by adding Better Georgia to Google Marketing platform and linking my personal account and agency account. Once both were connected, I moved the Analytics account from my personal to the agency account.
To answer your questions:
1. Are you able to share or provide information on the “Change History” button within that Analytics account? Please confirm access was not revoked.
>> Screenshots are linked below. It appears that Access was revoked during the moving process but I’m unsure how to get permissions back. I have shared screenshots showing that I am the owner and have all permissions. However, the Change History shows access is revoked.
2. Did this same Analytics account report fine using the same property and user when using the GADWP plugin?
>> Yes. I was able to connect and use GADWP without problem. However, this was prior to consolidating Analytics properties into one agency account.
3. If selecting a separate Analytics account do you encounter the same error?
>> I am not able to select any other Analytics accounts using Site Kit on Better Georgia. The dropdown menu will open but it flickers on and off and does not allow for any selections.

I am have the same (or similar) error on a different site. I’m not sure if this will help illuminate the problem or further confuse the issue but I’ve submitted a Site Health report for the second website, too.
I have successfully deployed the plugin on other sites linked to this account so I’ve seen it work before.
The error on the new website is the same as the original error on Better Georgia:
Error: We’ve detected there’s already an existing Analytics tag on your site (ID UA-133941090-2), but your account doesn’t seem to have access to this Analytics property. You can either remove the existing tag and connect to a different account, or request access to this property from your team.
I have followed all of the steps previously provided in this thread.
I have made some progress but I’m still not there.
Steps I have taken:
Deactivated AMP plugin
Deactivated and deleted GADWP plugin
Reset Site Kit
Reconnected Site KitI can now connect to Google Analytics but I get a new error:
Error: User does not have sufficient permissions for this account.
Here’s an image of the error message:
