In reply to: [The Events Calendar] http://domain.com/index.phpevents/Howdy handmadeinhongkong,
The calendar is found here for pathinfo servers: http://domain.com/index.php/events/ If it says it is http://domain.com/index.phpevents/ then you are experiencing a glitch in 3.12. Some folks have solved this by switching to their permalinks to /post-name/. Others reverted to 3.11 while they await a newer version of the calendar to be released with a fix.
Does that help clarify things? Are you able to get it working for now?
Cheers!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Background colorHowdy Fajardok,
That is quite dark! It’ possible there might be an easy way to fix this. Head over to WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display and try out the other templates in instead of the current one. Does one of them have a light background?
If that doesn’t work, then you will need someone to write some custom CSS for you and get it running on your site, that will make your theme The Events Calendar compatible.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Full upcoming list not appearingHowdy guys,
I am sorry that’s giving you trouble. SOme themes override your setting with one of their own, and when this happens you have little choice but to match the theme’s setting or switch themes. If your theme says only 10 events can show per page, then set The Events Calendar to only show 10 events and it should work. After that, you might mention this to the theme author. They don’t usually intend to override the post per page of custom post types. So bringing it to the authors attention often results in them fixing it in a future version.
Cheers!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Disfunctional calendarHowdy Emiel Kunn,
I would love to help you figure that out. What do you mean by ” the calendar doesn’t show properly” specifically? The only thing I noticed that might not be intentional is that the calendar is right aligned. If that is the issue, have you tried the various templates in WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display? One of them might work better. If that’s not the issue, would you mind elaborating?
Cheers!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Previous/Next Events not working jQuery v1.7Howdy svetlana.topalova,
Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. I will talk with the devs and see if there are interested in adding support for old versions of jQuery. It’s good to know there is a fix.

I am sorry, I do not quite understand. What do you mean by supplement? What is the Good Barber App?
Thanks for clarifying!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Show category on widgetHowdy Pepozzo,
That is definitely possible. Have a look at the Themer’s Guide. It walks you through modifying the PHP templates so you change the look, wording, and order of things.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Conflicting SlugsHowdy Frank3d,
I am sorry that is causing you trouble. In order to fix you might change the slug of one of the other to something that is a bit more unique for now. That should make the two work side-by-side for now.
We can look into this and see if there is a better way to handle that sort of situation with the plugin so we don’t accidentally hijack other pages. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Cheers!
– BrookHowdy MGBHB,
That is certainly odd. I have never seen that before. When you have a few minutes you should try a conflict test. It sounds like you are experiencing a conflict, perhaps it’s not theme related but it is still possible that newer versions of the plugin or theme dont work well together. This guide walks you through how to test for a conflict, and then identify what is conflicting.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Featured eventHowdy telesemana,
That’s a cool idea. It’s not a built in feature of our plugin to highlight a given event. But if ytou would like to see us add that in the future please suggest it. The Events Calendar: Suggest a feature.
It would be possible to build something like that using a theme override. Themer’s Guide. It walks you through modifying the PHP templates so you change the look of things. Then you could use a custom field to say whether an event is featured or not, or perhaps a category or tag.
I hope that information helps. Cheers!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] filter events by categorieHowdy Shauna,
That is indeed possible. The plugin Events Calendar PRO adds just such a shortcode. 🙂
Let us know if you have any more question. Cheers!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Single Event Page more SpaceHello Networker9,
That is crowded! Have you tried a different template in WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display ? One of the other ones might have spacing built-in.
If that doesn’t work though, you will need someone to write you some custom CSS for your theme to add the space. On occassion one of the fine volunteers here has the time to write it for you, so I will leave this topic open just in case.
Cheers!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Bug: Pop-ups being cut on calendar pageHowdy Denis,
It looks like your theme has added that summart and those popups. That is not part of our calendar and thus not something I am familiar with. If it’s misbehaving you should double check with the theme author. They might have already released an update fixing this.
Cheers!
