Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Slow page renederingThank you shazahm1
I hadn’t because of time pressures, but getting my response from 1and1 I felt I shoulf follow through their request.
However, I have now taken your advice and installed the Google Libraries plugin. I have removed several plug ins inluding your suggestion.
Whilst admin still has a small problem it is faster now and front end is now OK.
I’ll ask 1and1 about imagea, CSS file and javascript.
Thank you for your help.

In reply to: Slow page renederingI am not shard – I use space on a 1and1 server and have other sites that have no problem.
1and1 suggested I use http://gtmetrix.com to analyse the problem.
It tells me the following, amongst other less critical things.I chose WordPress because I didn’t expect to have to work out what this is all about – all I have done is a standard installation and added a few plug ins. So now I don’t know whether to cointinue with it.
Make fewer HTTP requests
