If you are seeing deprecated notices most likely you have custom functions or templates in your theme that need to be updated.
That does not have to happen right away, but eventually they will be removed.
To hide them you can turn off WP_Debug in your wp-config.php file:

Sorry for the issues.
I visited that link and was able to see the Events Calendar Month View.
Is there still an issue with the list view?
If you disable and then enable it here does that help:
Events > Settings > Display Tab > “Enable event views”

Could it have been a caching issue on site and in your browser?
I would wait to update until 4.0.1 as that resolves some bugs first. That should be out soon.

Appearance > Customize > Blog > “Full Post Content on Index” Set to > OnThe Events Calendar Settings:
