In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Displaying past eventsOk sounds good.
I do not believe it is possible to delete old replies.
WordPress.org Support might be able to help there. We do not have control over that.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Modern Tribe Events Calendar / Nav Menu RemovalHi,
Sorry for the issues here.
It is a bug and we hope to release a fix (4.0.1) either today or tomorrow at the latest.
If you go to the customizer you can now edit menus there and it should work for you.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Adding a Featured Image to Events PageFor sure. I push for it all the time as I agree with you it would help reduce support and make it easier for people to do as you are trying to do today.
Thanks
Hello,
Have you tried changing the Events Template in the settings?
Head to this page:
Events > Settings > Display Tab
Then change this setting:
Events Template to Default Page Template
Or to another template.
Does that work?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Extra information about locationsHi,
For venues you could use the wordpress function get_the_content()
https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_the_content
And pass the venue id to it.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Individual Event Pages MissingHi,
Sorry for the issues. I see this is marked resolved, but not sure if that is the case.
I did visit your site and see the event so maybe.
Here is our 404 error guide if you still need help:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/
That is a good place to start on these type of errors.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Listed events not showing in chronological orderHi jimario & cafoundationfund,
To quote the forum guidelines:
Posting your own topic is smiled upon.
Right now we’re not sure if the original poster still needs help or not – and it can quickly become confusing if we end up with lots of people chattering in the same thread.
If you can create a new post of your own that would be appreciated 🙂
Having said that I am unable to reproduce the issue.
Please look for any plugin you might have that reorders posts as that tends to cause this issue.
Let us know what you find out in your own topic.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Popup event window showing code and no infoHello,
Sorry for the issues here.
Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
And see if that can narrow down the cause of this.
Most likely it will be a plugin that minifys javascript that is causing this and that should be turned off for our scripts.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event "thumbnail" size?Hi,
Thanks for using our plugin.
I am limited in supporting modifications to the plugin.
We have a guide here though that might help you reduce the size:

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Conflict with Simple:Press Forum PluginHi,
Sorry for the issues here.
It is a deprecated function causing this.
You could remove it from this file and that would fix the issue:
plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/deprecated.php
Around line 500.
However, it would have to be removed after each update of our plugin until we remove it for good.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 404 errors on /events pageHi,
Sorry for the issues here.
Can you try disabling and then enabling the List View here:
Events > Settings > Display Tab > “Enable event views”
That should activate it.
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Cannot solve ical issue with timezoneHi,
There is an issue with the iCal Exporting adding the UTC offset to the time causing the issue.
We are working on 4.0.1 to fix the issue and should be out in a couple days if not today.
If you follow that link provided above the last reply from Nico has a temporary solution.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] [Plugin: The Events Calendar] Problems with hoursHi,
Sorry for the issues here.
It appears if you use the sitewide timezone settings in the Events Calendar it can create this issue.
We are working on a fix and hope to have it out soon.
Using Local Timezones should fix the issue for now.
Thanks
