  • OK, found the answer to my problem, anyway. Doing the upgrade replaced the .htaccess with a standard wordpress one, however I’m running a network so I had to go back and replace the rewrite rules.

    I just copy/pasted from Network Admin/Settings/Network Setup.

    B.

I’ve got the same! I have several sites, and the images I loaded last month to the server are all there. But the couple of images I loaded this month are gone. My wordpress auto-updated (on hostgator).

The uploads/2012/07 folder is missing on the server.

If I try and upload to any site, the upload appears to work (no error messages), but the image isn’t on the server (viewed through the file system), and even though it is listed in the media library, it has a broken link icon not a thumbnail. If you try and view it it shows that broken link as well.

Any ideas, anyone? I’ve run another install from within wordpress.
