In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] User DashboardThere are no available timelines for specific feature development. As this particular request requires significant development, if it is implemented, it would not be expected to be released for some time.
Thumbnails are generated from images attached to each post using the WordPress Featured Images tool. Where no images are attached, the default placeholder will display.
A note: Ensure that you have images attached to at least two posts if you wish to use the WPtouch Pro featured slider as well.
Relevanssi is one of the few plugins that has proven not to be compatible with WPtouch & WPtouch Pro. If you wish to display a functioning mobile theme, it is recommended that another enhanced search plugin be installed.
The Ignored URLs area of the Compatibility settings allows you to specify posts and pages that you want to display in the desktop theme. Be sure to only enter the URL fragment as noted in the tooltip.
It sounds as if you have active caching software serving cached mobile pages that are blocking your live site. You may configure W3 Total Cache (including its minify settings) and/or any active caching services not to cache mobile pages nor to serve cached pages when mobile devices are detected. To do so, enter the user agents found in the documentation link below to the “rejected user agents” areas in your caching software’s settings.
Remember to clear your plugin, browser, and device caches before retesting.

Issues with the menu are signs that there is an active Javascript conflict in your WordPress configuration.
To isolate which plugin(s) may be contributing to the trouble, deactivate all except WPtouch from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data then test.
If WPtouch functions well, you may then enable the rest of your plugins one at a time, repeating the process, until you can identify which is/are causing the problem.
If no plugins show to be causing the issue then test the desktop theme by temporarily switching to a compatible theme such as TwentyThirteen (with all other plugins still deactivated).
You may choose to replace the conflicting plugin with another or upgrade to WPtouch Pro which has a feature that will allow you to disable the conflicting plugin within your mobile theme but leave your desktop theme intact.

Yashpal, the recommended method of customizing the mobile theme is to use a copied child theme. Changes made to the bundled theme’s files will be replaced on the next update.

Once WPtouch Pro is active, the mobile theme is active. You may change mobile themes but one is always active on all parts of your site unless specified otherwise.
WPtouch has no ability to affect the desktop theme. You can test your desktop theme by temporarily switching to a compatible theme such as TwentyThirteen to see if the issue disappears.
If you have WP Super Cache active, it will need to be configured not to serve the incorrect theme. To do so, enter the user agents found in the documentation link below to the “rejected user agents” areas in your caching plugin’s settings. Remember to clear your plugin, browser, and device caches before retesting.

The “About the Author” area can be styled by adding custom CSS that targets its container (#author-bio-box). Add custom styling in the Stats & Custom Code area of your WPtouch admin panel.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] User DashboardWe’ll look at adding that feature, especially since WordPress is not formatted for mobile devices on the back end.
Alternatively, you could suggest to your authors to use the native WordPress app for publishing on the go.
As WPtouch increase page load speed for most users, it is likely that there is a Javascript conflict affecting your WordPress installation. To isolate which plugin(s) may be contributing to the trouble, deactivate all except WPtouch from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data then test.

If your list of tags is long, they may exceed the maximum load limit set in WPtouch and therefore all will not display. That limit may be increased by modifying the core code but will affect load time of the admin area and be replaced on the next update.
