I’m having the exact same issue. I have successfully activated the same API key on two of my other websites, but on my new website it also shows the error “Failed connect to gtmetrix.com: 101”.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Not really the support I was hoping, but thanks for your advice Jan. Got to love Internet Explorer….
I’ll consider if it’s worth purchasing an account to get support from the theme author directly. But I’m secretly still hoping for a member to have conquered the same problem before and be willing to share the solution with me of course.
Same here. Entered the API Key and account, but none of my urls are shortened when I try sharing them on Twitter. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
