In reply to: [Cooked - Recipe Management] Featured image showing twice@itstotallymygame is correct, you can remove that shortcode to hide the second image. However, if you WANT the second image but DO NOT want the first one, you would need to add some custom CSS to hide the first one, which is coming from the theme as the “featured image”. I cannot provide this CSS because every theme is different. I would need to see the URL of your site in order to provide the needed CSS. 🙂

In reply to: [Cooked - Recipe Management] Images are not sizing@drtimofey: Good point, I’ll change this to the ‘large’ format instead of ‘full’ for the next update. That should bring it down a lot. I’ll throw a filter hook in there as well so you can change it to whatever you’d like. 🙂

In reply to: [Cooked - Recipe Management] Page not found error in pagination@nishakumari: Be sure that your “Recipes” page and your “Single Recipe” posts do not share the same permalink. For example, if your recipe page slug is “recipes” and your single recipe post slug is also “recipes”, this will create a conflict.
You would need to change one of these. The easiest one is to change the single recipe permalink from the Recipes > Settings screen. Go to the Permalinks tab there and change the single recipe slug to “recipe”.

In reply to: [Cooked - Recipe Management] shortcode id as part of recipeThe individual template shortcodes (ingredients, excerpt, etc.) only work when viewing a recipe post, so you would need to get those into a WordPress loop for that to work. Right now there’s really no easy method to do this, however I do see the need for it. I’ll see what I can do for a future update to allow for specific IDs in those shortcodes.
Thanks for the feedback, @bdeelman!

In reply to: [Cooked - Recipe Management] How to use tags with recipes ?Cooked uses a custom post type called “Recipes” for you to differentiate between normal posts and recipe posts. These recipe posts also have a custom taxonomy called “Categories” that are only for recipes. The default is that you would create your recipes and your recipe categories and assign them accordingly.
However, if you wanted to use your posts and post categories for your recipes, you would create your recipes as usual and then use the recipe shortcode on a normal post to display that recipe. If you go this route you would want to activate the option to “Disable Public Recipes” on the Recipes > Settings screen (near the bottom of the first tab).

In reply to: [Cooked - Recipe Management] Can’t scroll once recipe is embeddedGlad you got it working, but it is indeed a strange issue! Does the theme you’re using have a custom scroll effect applied or anything? That’s the only thing I can think of.

Hmmm. It looks like something might be up with the permalink settings but it’s hard to tell. Can you submit your information as a bug report here so I can take a look?

The version of Cooked you have is Cooked Classic, not this version. Here’s some information on migrating to the new Cooked and Cooked Pro:
