In reply to: [Easy Testimonials] Link to individual testimonial from listHi – it should work, sounds like the right solution, but for some reason adding use_excerpt doesn’t seem to do anything. This is the shortcode I’m using; do you see any problems?
testimonials count=’100′ orderby=’title’ order=’asc’ show_thumbs=’1′ paginate=’1′ testimonials_per_page=’10’ use_excerpt=’1′
I’d love to get this to work, in all other ways it’s perfect!

In reply to: [Recent Posts Widget Extended] CSS not savingGreat, happy to help!
Just wondering if there’s been any progress on an “add event” button or link for admins of groups and for group members (if they’re allowed) on the group page itself? I agree it would be nice to avoid having to click through to multiple places (profile, events page) to add a group event.
Buddypress is already a bit round-about for getting things done, and I’d really like users to do as much as possible by taking them directly to the right place.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Custom Content Shortcode] Make recent comments widgetIt works!! I don’t have time this morning to try out all of the parameters, but in three minutes I got something going in a widget. Next: to see if I can include post thumbnail… I’ll try that this evening! Thanks for being so willing to make this plugin do what we need!!

In reply to: [Custom Content Shortcode] Make recent comments widgetYay! I know there are plugins for “better recent comments and posts”, etc, but I love being able to style things myself using your shortcodes. You rock. 🙂
Confirmed; the upgrade causes redirects in Buddypress 2.1 as well. Have moved back to NGG 2.0.40 and the problem has disappeared.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu] Not working with WP 3.8 and BP 1.9I do understand that plugin authors put in a lot of work on free things for us to use. I’m not the ungrateful sort, on the contrary; I was totally bummed because it’s such a great plugin and I’d love to use it! Looking forward to the update, and thank you.

In reply to: [Eyes Only: User Access Shortcode] Restricting to Buddypress groupsOk, thanks; I’ve found another solution for that particular problem for the time being. 🙂

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Enable everywhere for only one Buddypress GroupIs there a place where users can “vote” on the wishlist, or even group together to pay you for mods that we’d like? I think it would be a cool way to help development… If enough of us chip in we can both support you and help develop the free version for others.
I’m doing this out-of-pocket for my own musical ensembles, so I don’t have much of a budget, but if enough of us want this feature (perhaps mention it on Buddypress and BbPress forums?) we could probably come up with a donation that would inspire you to add the function. 🙂

In reply to: [List category posts] Display category nameYay! Thanks!

In reply to: [List category posts] Display category nameI vote a big yes for this one, with the option to link to the category. I can’t use the “readmore” links because I’m listing posts from many categories and restricting them to Buddypress groups. It would be great to have the category link within each post meta instead of at the end or beginning of the whole list.

In reply to: [File Away] Responsiveness?Thomstark,
Your final code – sent by email :
.ssfa-ellipsis { white-space: normal !important; overflow: visible !important; text-overflow: none !important; }Worked for me, in conjunction with putting spaces in the filenames and shortening them. Thanks for your help! Am on my way (only 750 more filenames to modify… 🙂 )

In reply to: [File Away] Responsiveness?Sure – but can I message you? It’s not on a publicly-accessible part of the site…
