@zeeraza Can you please clarify about the issue?
W3 Total Cache is not a problem in general, however using a disk or disk enhanced method for cache is not very wise. I am sure that if you make a general web search for best practices, you will see that using both of these methods can lead to even bigger slow-down.I have investigated this, and indeed it returns the product in the second language, but I don’t understand why this is a problem. The two products are synced together. Please provide more details in order for me to understand why this is a problem.
I will attempt to test this.
However please be aware that the products synchronize all details between one-another – like stock qty, prices and similar – they are always the same for both products, so essentially the api would get the correct information, despite the other product being queried. Can you please provide more details about this issue?
Which functions of the API do you use?
How can I reproduce this?
Have you tested latest version if the same behaviour is observer there? In general – products are created different per language, while orders are not. The order language is controlled via custom field that determines the language, and I think it is normal that you get the product based on what language is supplied for the order.
I would recommend you to open a ticket in WPML.org support forum, so that we can investigate the performance issue with your site.
This kind of issues are usually very hard to debug and will definitely require for the supporter to reproduce your site and test.
Please also be sure that if you use caching plugin like W3 Total Cache, that you are not using Disk cache or advanced disk cache anywhere.I am sorry to hear that.
Have you opened a ticket in the wpml support forum?
Do you require further assistance?Hello, I would like more details in order to understand the issue.
Let me just suggest something.
When you have migrated the site – the permalinks may have been broken somehow.
So first, I would suggest you to go to Setting > Permalinks and re-save the permalinks first.
Then perhaps it would be good that if you delete the slug that is not working in the String Translation, and re-translate it.
As additional suggestion, I would recommend that you disable any caching mechanisms that you might have – especially but not limited to object cache. This however are shots in the dark, and I would need more details in order to be of more help.
I would suggest to you that if these suggestions not work for you, to open a new ticket in WPML support forums where we can help you more fast and more adequately.Hello, were you able to resolve the issue that you were experiencing?
I hope that you opened a ticket in wpml.org forum and that my colleagues helped you resolve the issue.
Let me know of your progress.I will close this ticket for lack of activity in a week time.

In reply to: [WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce] Cart currency not changedPlease let me know if other theme or any other advice that I provided helps you resolve the issue.
For now until we are able to take a look at your setup, I cannot suggest anything, because it will be just shooting at random.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce] Cart currency not changedI have some ideas for this, however I would love to take a in-depth look of the situation.
Are you using a child theme? If so, does the issue persists with the parent theme?
Can you try with a similar theme that supports mini-cart?As I said, I would love to dig deeper, but in this forum we cannot share information privately, so I would recommend that you open a new ticket in WPML.org support forum and after talking with a supported that can open a private reply, we can possibly check this in-depth why this is the case.
I suspect that this could be some kind of incompatibility or timing of the request after changing the currency that is causing this.I am glad that you resolved your issue.
Please let us know if you have any suggestions for improvements – on the user interface or something else.
We always strive to make our product better. You can check for multiple product slugs by going to WPML > String translation and searching for: product
Then I would advise you to delete all slug entries, and then go to WPML > Translation management > Multilingual content setup and scroll until you see the product permalink and that it is expecting a translated slug. You have to translate the slug there, and then the slug will appear in the String Translation table.
If you are getting the error that your product slug is not translated in French, then you need to check the steps that I have outlined above in this message and translate the slug by these steps. This should fix the problem.
Changing the slug to product works, because there are similar slug being registered. You need to remove it because it is causing conflict with your new permalink setup. You can remove it by searching in String Translation as outlined in the steps in this reply above.Let me know if this helps.
Hello,
Do you have all the categories translated?
Which part of the url appears in English when you don’t translate the slug?
For WooCommerce Multilingual it is required that you translate the slug.
Make sure that in WPML > String Translation you don’t have multiple contradicting slugs for product base.
It may be a good idea if you search for the product base string and remove all instances of it and then translate it by going to WPML > WooCommerce Multilingual and following the links and solving the warrnings there.Let me know if that helps.
If you have any difficulty setting this up, please consider opening a new ticket in wpml.org support forum, where my colleagues or I, can help you with this process.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce] Cart currency not changedHello,
We had this issue in a previous version but it should be fixed in the latest versions.
Can you provide more information please?
Do you use the latest version of WooCommerce Multilingual?
If you have some caching enabled, it might be a good idea to temporary switch it off and clear it.I am glad that this helped.
