This is not a free UM issue. Customization questions about other WordPress plugins are, for the most part, never discussed on this free UM support board. Please hire a developer to help you with your customization needs.

Meta tags? What is that? You must mean meta-keys.

Don’t duplicate a form if you don’t need the fields in it, and No, you don’t edit meta keys.
If you require a different meta key then create a new field.

Are you on a hosting plan? Can you check your .htaccess file and confirm your mod_rewrite settings? Also in Admin panel Settings > Permalinks, what do you have selected?

You should see at the right side of the profile page a cog icon (opposite to the avatar).

To see if you can access the edit function, replace your domain name below, then copy and paste the url to your browser’s url locator and hit enter.

Can you please do a conflict test on the theme first and then plugins and see if it is caused by a conflict. You can click the link for directions on the plugin/theme conflict test:

There is no way to duplicate master rows on or offline because of metadata.

Due to wp.org forum rules we are not allowed to discuss paid extensions on this website. In future you will need to submit a pre-purchase question via their website. If you think they are not active or not responsive enough, then maybe you shouldn’t buy anything yet.

What exactly did you put in the header.php file that would bring the UM search field onto the home page?
