In reply to: static pageHi thanks, and yes totally agree aaarrrrgggghhhh so frustrating. I have another problem. can anyone tell me pls why the txt won’t inlarge in black studio tiny MCE? I highlight the txt click on heading 1 it changes as i’m doing it but when i view site it’s soooo small. help again thanks

In reply to: static pageHi just wanted to let you know it worked. YAY!!! I deleted the entire menu and started again. I did what you suggested ’emptied trash and I also clicked on delete cache and wooohoooo. i’m stoked. takes me so long to do these things because not pc savy at all. anyway thanks much. phew!!!! now i can move forward after being stuck on this thing for days on end. once i started again n viewing tutorials + yr advice and others too took me all of 2 mins. maaaaaan. but good learning go down anyways.

In reply to: static pageAlso can anyone tell me. In the pages I changed the title’about this website’ to ‘Welcome glad you could make it here’. Why did it also change in the menu above pls? About this site is set so I thought in the menu where you go to create it etc, hope i’m making sense. but on my site as there is about this website 3X eg on the top navigation menu, on a pic that you click on to go there and when you click on the about this website it is also the title on the page. I thought it was dum so i changed it to ‘welcome glad you could make it here’ and that whole title has replaced the ‘about this site’ in the top navigation menu. why did this happen pls

In reply to: static pageHi thanks and sorry take so long to get bk to you. this is the link http://www.tikangakaupapa.com the site wll appear and that’s not my home page that page was once hello world and look im so new to this all and just viewing tutorials endlessly but in his tutorial he got rid of this page you will see (through settings/readings etc) on his end but is not working on my end. The header and everything and the pic of family yes its mine as i didn’t explain myself accurately above bt in my admin there’s many differences on my home page. you will see on the side bar home etc bt that is not there at all on my home page, and the pic you see is on my home bt not like how you see it. I clicked on home when bringing up my website and nothing’s showing up that i have in my admin. weird!!! Maybe it is something to do with going wonky in the menu that I had done. im using 20/12. do you have any tutorials (video) to direct me to, maybe i have to start again. drats!!!!

I viewed a tutorial on youtube step by step and did exactly what i was informed to do, my other pages were about this website and contact me that i created. besides static where you check the box there’s front page, you cick on the arrow to select right. well my other two show in there bt not my home for me to select as front page. maybe delete the page and start again perhaps? your thoughts thanks
