Thanks for contacting us and thanks for the valuable insights and proposals.
We will going to take a look at the additional tag options related to the headline content element. It requires a good balance between the complexity related to options and the actual benefit. Introducing the div and p options to the headline alone might be a good fit.
In terms of the DOM complexity and the number of HTML elements, unfortunately we do not have much space for optimizations if we are to stick with the existing number of elements and the intended flexibility 🙁
