Ads im selling to third party, companies of interest, can buy ad space as banners. I used the plugin advertisement management. I just put the code in the box for the plugin saying “ad over header” and voila!

I suppose the company buying ad space will give me those two tags he is talking about, but where in the code do i put them and how are they supposed to look..? 🙂 just a word..? Like this: <pregnant> or should i be given an complete code..?

My client said “if i give you two tags can we then direct them towards…” – dosent that meen he wants me to direct..? Im just not sure what he meens or want to achieve by that, do you?

Also, im not sure about your answer above, if the last sections answer only applies to the stats or if you meen i have to do something to make the ad tag coding work..?

Finally, im not using an affiliate program to get advertisement, i prefer to sell the ads myself. Is that a problem when clients want this “tagging”..?

OMG thats terrible! I know there´s a problem also with IE8, but not like that.

So, putting the coding in the header.php avoids this?

Hmmm, well i am using it in a plugin called advertisement management so i actually just put it into a box to place header over banner, but could i do that manually as easy as with the same code in header.php ? and after the above coding..? would be great to do it without plugin if its not more difficult than that. otherwise, how to center witihin that code in plugin?

Do you think a plugin such as this is as good and okey to use as making the child theme from scratch or should i just make it manually?

And entered the analytics key at all sites.

This is what it says in the plugin info:

This plugin have only been tested with the subdomains installation of WordPress Multisite.

But I can’t think of any reason why it would not work with the subdirectories installation so if you are up to it, feel free to try. I suspect that it will be harder setting up filters in Analytics to see data from a specific site with subdirectories installation.

Yes, according to a user who have tried this it works with adding only one row of text to the tracking code and setting domain name to “none”. More on this on the plugin website.

For those of you who use domain mapping a guy named Nathan (who also use that) used my plugin and added a line “_gaq.push([‘_setAllowLinker’, true]);” in the tracking code and also put the network domain name to “none” and he says it works. For cross traffic between blogs you have to add a _link to the links, more on this here.

The only thing i want is a statistic tool showing me statistics from all sites. I now use jetpack but that only shows every site separately and without pagewievs.
I need unique visitors all sites together and pagewievs all sites together. Any ideas? (because thats actually why i need google analytics).

Isn´t if possibel to only show above header. The double header has got to do with the theme…
