In reply to: [Surge] CloudflareGot it, thanks. We’re not on a paid plan so I’ll definitely be checking out your plugin.

In reply to: [Surge] CloudflareThat makes sense, but what about the caching that Cloudflare itself does? Is your plugin redundant to that effort or complementary? Caching is confusing, so I’m not quite sure.
Thanks
In case anyone missed it like I did (it’s not so easy to be notified of revisions for new versions unless you haunt this forum, at least that I know of), 7.5.5 added the option for requirement on any role.
Glad to hear it’s on the way. Until I saw this thread, I didn’t quite appreciate that “Enable” didn’t mean “Require.”
With no response here, I pressed the button, and it almost instantly finished. The log then added:
`2021-04-28 23:56:40 [info] elementor::elementor_updater Started
2021-04-28 23:56:40 [info] Elementor/Upgrades – _v_3_2_0_migrate_breakpoints_to_new_system Start
2021-04-28 23:56:40 [info] Elementor/Upgrades – _v_3_2_0_migrate_breakpoints_to_new_system Finished
2021-04-28 23:56:40 [info] Elementor data updater process has been completed. [array (
‘plugin’ => ‘Elementor’,
‘from’ => ‘3.2.1’,
‘to’ => ‘3.2.2’,
)]`But no resolution of the widespread element problem. So I tried rolling back to 3.2.1, but also no help. Quite curious, but unless you have some other ideas. Elementor may not be responsible, despite the coincidence of the version upgrade and the resulting error mentioned above.
BTW, also tried regenerating CSS (in Elementor) as well as clearing OPCache (separate plugin).

In reply to: [Stop WP Emails Going to Spam] PHP Notice in wp-admin/error_logReporting back that the last time I looked, this had done the trick.
Looking now doesn’t help, since the error_log there and in the parent directory have vanished entirely, but that’s unrelated.

In reply to: [Stop WP Emails Going to Spam] PHP Notice in wp-admin/error_logWill do. I should know in a few days.
OK, I’ll do that later today.
Due to the infrequency of these warnings in the log (three weeks between the first one and the recent pair from five days ago), it could be quite some time before anything is known.
OK, just sent. Thanks.
Before taking that major step, I should emphasize that the warning doesn’t correspond to any particular problem that I’ve seen, so it doesn’t seem urgent enough to warrant wiping out the installation. That’s typical of PHP warnings as opposed to errors.
And more to your point of it being corruption, it’s happened with both the current and previous version of PHP, current and previous version of WP, current and previous version (maybe versionS) of WordFence. In that case, I’m not sure where the corruption, if there is corruption as opposed to a coding issue in bootstrap.php, could be.

In reply to: [Modern Events Calendar Lite] Version 5.11.5 and Database errorsBased on a timestamp in a log, this might have begun with 5.11.0 on Sep 2.
We also use Elementor but hadn’t updated to the problematic v3 at the time of the errors.
Since I wouldn’t have any idea what to do with render.php and am unclear what it’s doing in your child theme (btw, we didn’t even have a child theme when this problem started), I’ll not go down that path to try to solve this.
Probably two of us posting about it will be enough to get them to fix it themselves in an upcoming version.
I have that same question and am unclear whether you answered it.
Yes, each user will need to scan the code, but is this possible for the same login, which was really the question. Or will the next user to setup 2FA invalidate the previous one?
I realize it’s not ideal to have shared accounts, but is the above scenario really possible?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] How to switch plansWill do. I guess that’s why the button isn’t there.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] How to switch plansI should add that I do see the button to upgrade to the higher plan, but I’m looking to downgrade to the lower one. No button for that.
However, looking at the URL for the upgrade:
https://jetpack.com/redirect/?source=plans-business-monthly&site=oursite.com&u=15This modification for the lower plan seems like it would work in that it brings me to a correct checkout page for the right plan:
https://jetpack.com/redirect/?source=plans-personal-monthly&site=oursite.com&u=15The question now becomes if that would smoothly switch the plan, which is what we want, or create a second plan.

In reply to: Old WordPress core file not removed during updateNo, I don’t. I was 1) confirming the issue (that’s a good thing, right?), and 2) following-on directly to the recommended course of action, questioning what you were referring to about reinstalling core files when it’s not called for in a case where nothing is missing.
I’m baffled how you think this is spam. It’s not completely different. It’s completely the same, to the letter. Same bug.
