I already tried that and it just resulted in different problems. Before they wouldn’t show and after I get this

RSS Error: XML error: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1, column 2 when I use this http://www.ukathletics.com/headline-rss.xml

and when I use this http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/rss/ncb/news the feed will show but I get this at the bottom of it

Warning: gzuncompress() [function.gzuncompress]: data error in /home4/bigbluer/public_html/wp-includes/http.php on line 1831

Fixed my rss by going back it by going back to the 3 files mentioned from 2.8.6 rather than the 2.9 files with no problems with anything else I’ve seen yet.

Don’t think I can say this is resolved but its working now
