I was thinking about contributor, but decided on author because I wanted to let people post right away. I had someone email me telling me they could not post, and realized I should change it. What do you think?
fatalcure, that looks like it is it. Is there a place where people can find that in their panel? I was looking for that too. I noticed the two bottom links did not work though.

I am running WP 2.0.2 and put this in the page.php (I think that is what you meant by template):
require($abspath.’wp-links/links.weblogs.com.php’);
I also added this line to the list for pings (under options/writing):
http://rpc.weblogs.com/RPC2
Is there anything more I need to do?
