I tried both of those with no success. If I set the actual width to 1900px, the menu shifts below the log and to the extreme left, but most of it off the page.

I’ll just reduce my menu to fit into the current frame/div and leave it at that. When I get some more time, I’ll write my own home page where I have complete control over the elements.

Thanks again NeoTechnomad but no luck. I added that CSS to my child theme style.css file.

I don’t know how to attach files otherwise I could show more detail but the header is 1900px wide but header-code is only 906px wide and seems to be centered.

If I change the code to be header-core instead it makes no difference.

I don’t think it can be changed with CSS.

I might just have to remodel my menu to be smaller. (ie less items in the root menu)

Thanks NeoTechnomad for pointing out the syntax error, but it makes no difference.

All it does is push the menu below the logo, still leaving all this whitespace on the left and right, but the sliders fill that space.

If I inspect in Chrome I see that the header-core takes up the full browser width like the slider but it indents or floats the menu in the centre of the page making it only 960px wide.

The logo has no class against it, so I can’t seem to control that with CSS, by say making the logo 20% and the menu 80%, but regardless the margins always seem to be put in.
