    Hello Michalis

Thank you for raising this. We work with a couple of advertising companies including Affectv and that is how we are able to support the development of this plugin. We DO NOT insert any advertisement on the website itself.

Our T&Cs on http://slingpic.com/privacy/index.html outline what we do with data and how we use it. The code is called in certain circumstances only and we have verified it as safe. I don’t believe we are violating the T&Cs for building WordPress plugins.

Do let me know if this has addressed your concerns.

    Regards
    Ben

Hi apologies for not getting back to you sooner, unfortunately Slingpic’s support for gallery and other image plugins is very limited. We will be working on a solution for this in the new year.

Thanks for your feedback, we’ll keep you posted on any updates.

Unfortunately our support for gallery plugins (including nextgen) is very limited, when development continues next year it will be the first problem that we will be looking into.

Thanks for your feedback, I will be in touch once we have made an update which solves this issue.

Slingpic currently has very limited support for other image related plugins, it is an issue we will be looking into next year when our development continues. Slingpic’s image height/width is currently integral to its performance, though as it is the main culprit when attempting to work nicely with other plugins, we will be looking at other options.

Thanks for you feedback, it helps us discover the important issues and functionality the community really needs and helps us address the things that matter.

We’ll be in touch when we’ve made these improvements.

    Hi

Thanks for the feedback, this is currently how Slingpic has been designed to work. As once the sharing dialogue has been opened between the user and the social network the information passed between them is secure, including feedback on whether the share was made or not. So unfortunately we can’t, with absolute certainty, detect whether a share has happened. The number of shares therefore is more of an estimate.

My apologies that development of Slingpic has been slow of late, I’m currently not able to commit as much time to it as I wish. I plan to give Slingpic the attention it deserves in the coming months, I will let you all know as soon as I begin working on it once more and I will answer all your questions then.

    Thanks

    Hi

Thanks for getting in touch and trying out Slingpic 🙂

Unfortunately Slingpic has very little support for image galleries at the moment, it’s something we are working on as its clearly a feature Slingpic needs to become a truly useful tool for the community.

I’ll be in touch as soon as we have made this update,

    Hi okedonk,

There are two options that can help you control this, the first option requires you to add a unique class to all the images that you would like to be shareable by Slingpic. For example, by adding the class ‘show-slingpic’ to all the images you want to be shared, you can then add this class in the options screen next to “show”.

Your other option is to use the “don’t show” option this works in the same way except that every image you add this class to Slingpic will not show.

If you are changing slingpic options manually, and not in the wordpress plugin settings page you can get more information here

    Hi Jutreis,

Apologies for the late reply to your query. We’re currently working on getting Slingpic to work with at least the most popular gallery plugins. I will let you know as soon as this release is ready.

    Thanks for your interest,

    Ben

    Hi

Currently Slingpic will always (and must) load in the WordPress footer, however it’s not possible to ensure it is always added after JQuery. I will look into making it clearer that this can cause an issue.

I am looking into adding g+ sharing in the next update, I will let you know once it’s released. Thanks for your question, I hope Slingpic is now working correctly for you.

    Hi bitsybride

We have released a share count that slides out from under the share button. We hope you like it, if you have any thoughts on how we could
