In reply to: Paragraphs not showing on about pageThis isn’t because of the theme. The exact same thing occurs with every free theme I have tried. I was previously using Twenty Eleven theme and the exact same thing happened. Partly why I changed over to a premium theme.

In reply to: Paragraphs not showing on about pageI have changed it to be default template as I don’t want it to show other blog posts. It still has same issue of paragraphs.

In reply to: Page ID@wp_sam I have done all of that and it still only shows the one page id for my about me page. Not the page where all the blog posts are.

In reply to: Page ID@wp_sam I have activated plug in and can see the ID of my about me page. But am not sure where to find the ID for the blog page as it is not set up as a page. I hope that makes sense.

In reply to: Page IDOK so Have read link. The blod posts don’t live on a page I understand now.
So how do I put an ID in when a plug in requests when?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Page IDFor two reasons. I won’t to put a plug in that allwos people to follow my page. Like you can hace on wordpress hosted sites and blogger. I have had a number of readers mention they want to but can’t easily do etc.
Plus I want to create more pages down the track and I am redesigning the page and it seems to be something I need to know.
So I guess in a way I have two questions. How to get page ID PLUS how do I create pages and not lose content.
I haven’t read the above link j.musick. Will do so now.

In reply to: WordPress statsThank you Darren. Sorry for late reply – been sick 🙁
I will look into that. I don’t want it to be linked at all to my company blog so will see if I can get it changed.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Deleting Comments section from Twenty Eleven ThemeThank you. I had done that but thought it didn’t work. Turns out it is working.
Appreciate everyones time with my ditsy question 🙂Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Deleting Comments section from Twenty Eleven ThemeI don’t care about the comments currently there. Had tried doing all the spam things but am just too busy. Would prefer to not have at all and if people wish to comment they can do on the facebook page. Most people do this any way.
So not to be rude but none of the above tells me how to get rid of comments section for all future posts.
Michale.mariart I honestly do not remember how I did it previously. Before I upgraded it just had a comments closed notice at the end of the posts.
