We cannot turn this off because it’s how we’re managing our guest authors right now. I was planning on moving them all over to your plugin. I’d be curious to know if the others above also have this plugin installed.
I have the most current version of your plugin. Everything on our site is fully up to date. We are running the Opinion WordPress theme.
We are having the same issue. When I bulk changed the category for a bunch of posts, it changed me to the author for all of them. We’re convinced it is this plugin causing the problem.
We’re wondering if it’s interacting badly with the Guest Author plugin we already had or former authors that are now “subscribers” due to us wanting to limit their access.
It’s definitely caused us significant issues before we realized it was happening. Has anyone figured out a fix yet? We would love to be able to keep using this plugin.
