In reply to: [WebLibrarian] due dateHi, so just to be clear, if we have ten copies of one book, I’d have to list it ten times in the database (and therefore it will appear ten times in the catalog search)?
This seems like it would make it hard to easily browse by author, say, because it would be very inflated results (we’re a small library, but there are a few authors for whom we have multiple copies of their books).
Thanks.

In reply to: [WebLibrarian] 403 Error when populating fields from AmazonOkay, it’s neither the plugin nor the AWS setup, as I used the same credentials on another Web Librarian setup, and it works fine. Also, it seems that if I clear what is populated into the “description” field, it works fine (which is ok since all I really need are the image url, ISBN, and pub date). It probably has something to do with security on our wordpress setup or something like that.
Thanks for the quick reply though!

In reply to: [WebLibrarian] How to check-out books.Aha! Thank you! Somehow, this was not obvious to me at all (I had done this but hadn’t noticed the the “Checkout Item” option was available—I kept looking for that option to appear below somewhere around the “hold” button.) Thanks so much, and thanks so much for such a quick reply! You might want to include this in the manual too.
Thanks again.

In reply to: Still can't login to admin area after installing "Adapt" themeAll seems to be well now. Either the problem went away on its own, or my hosting service did something on their end to make it all better. Thanks for the help though!

In reply to: Still can't login to admin area after installing "Adapt" themeYes, was able to revert to another theme by going into PHPmyAdmin and changing the options. i also tried deactivating the plugins via FTP. The theme is successfully changed back, but still no entry into the admin dashboard.

In reply to: Helping making blog private while using wp-filebaseOkay, it seems to be a problem with permalinks, because when I disable permalinks in wp-filebase, it works, but this is not practical, because I need to be able to link directly to the files as well.
@infogeniuz, I’m a noob (and I’m trying to use the pro version)…can you tell me which file this is in, thanks!
Thanks Jonathan! I hope you can fix it; I would be so happy if this plugin could work again!
Try this plugin: http://sharemygallery.com/
It has pintrest, twitter, google+, and facebook.
You can see it on my website at: http://wenchen.org/photos-and-video/wenchen-retreat-center-photos/
I use it in conjunction with easy fancybox plugin.
Thanks for the link; unfortunately, I still have the same problem with the older version.
benetj: can you post that older version of filebase 0.2.9.18 (as a temporary fix)?
Mine is similar:
<p><a href="/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpfilebase_manage" class="button">Go back</a></p><h2>Synchronisation</h2><p>Checking for file changes... done!</p><p>Searching for new files... <p>982 Files found, 340 new.</p><script type="text/javascript"><!-- var _pbr_bs=[];var _pbr_ds=[];var _pbr_ss=[];var _pbr_ws=[];var _pbr_dc=[];function _pbr_s(f,d){var e=(d/_pbr_ss[f]);if(_pbr_ds[f]){_pbr_ds[f].innerHTML=""+Math.round(e*100)+" %";}_pbr_bs[f].style.width=""+Math.round(e*_pbr_ws[f])+"px";var c=(e>=0.5);if(_pbr_ds[f]&&_pbr_dc[f]!=c){var a=(c?document.getElementById("_pbr_b"+f):_pbr_bs[f]);_pbr_ds[f].style.color=a.style.backgroundColor;_pbr_dc[f]=c}}function _pbr_i(e,d,a,b){_pbr_bs[e]=document.getElementById("_pbr_"+e);_pbr_ds[e]=document.getElementById("_pbr_d"+e);_pbr_dc[e]=false;_pbr_ss[e]=a;_pbr_ws[e]=b;_pbr_s(e,d)}; // --></script><div id="_pbr_b0" style="width:100px;height:20px;text-align:left;background-color:#FFF;overflow:hidden;border:1px solid #000;"> <div id="_pbr_d0" style="width:100px;height:20px;text-align:center;line-height:20px;position:absolute;z-index:3;color:#0C0;"></div><div id="_pbr_0" style="width:0px;height:20px;background-color:#0C0;"></div> </div><script>_pbr_i(0,0,340,100);</script>Where would the error be? I don’t see any error, and the page seems to load fully.
Wow! Thanks for finding that. It works again! What is referrer validation? My site is an internal site for 7 people; is that validation still necessary? Obviously, an all-inclusive fix would be best, but just wondering if it’s absolutely necessary….

In reply to: [Digg Digg] [Plugin: Digg Digg] Facebook no display in ChromeI’m having a similar problem. To matters stranger, when I deactivate the digg digg plugin, my featured slider (that comes with my theme) doesn’t work anymore.
