sorry for not elaborating more.
i disabled ALL plug ins – and other than removing some widgets i had set up, nothing else happened that i could tell.
i activated each plug in one at a time, seeing if anything would change after each, and nothing.
well darn it all – that didn’t work.
any other ideas?

i have not. are you suggesting that i deactivate all my plug ins and then reactivate them right away? what would be the reason for the plug ins causing that?
