Update: Well, I couldn’t make head or tail of those threads, I’m afraid, (I worked out that they were advocating adding some code to my website, but couldn’t work out where it needed to go). However, I did spot something in another post linked to them (another one of yours, @cybr , I think) that said it was possible to disable SEO for The Events Calendar in the SEO Framework settings. I did that, and my browser tab seems to be behaving itself now. Phew! Thank you.

Thanks @cybr . I’ll have a look at your links.

@erishel : I’m not sure.. I’m not a developer or coder so I hope it’s not too technical! I’ll pop back in if I get stuck. Wish me luck…

    Hi Mike,

I’ll try that, thanks. It’s definitely to do with the SEO plugins, as without them, the events table looks fine. The Events Calendar seems to really HATE being used at the same time as SEO plugins, as this isn’t the only problem I’ve encountered. Are there any SEO plugins that you know of, that you would recommend using on a site that also uses The Events Calenday?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for responding (again!). I deactivated Yoast, and installed a different SEO plugin (The SEO Framework). When I deactivated that one, the word “Archives” disappeared, which is why you couldn’t see it when you looked. I would love to be able to use an SEO plugin, but the ones I’ve tried seem to cause chaos with The Events Calenday, sadly. Are there any SEO plugins that DON’T conflict with it, please?

Hi Mike, and thanks for the response. I just headed in to take a screenshot, and found that the issue looks to have resolved itself. I’m guessing it must be another conflict issue with the SEO plugins I was using (first Yoast and then the SEO Framework). I deactivated both of these and the table is displaying properly now.

Are these conflicts with SEO plugins irresolvable? In an ideal world, I’d like to be able to use an SEO plugin AND The Events Calenday…

    Thanks for your help.

Hi Mike. THanks for the response. I’m not talking about the archives widget (just checked my post to see if I had typed “sidebar” in error; I hadn’t). I’m talking about the way that the browser tab appears (at the top of the Chrome window). When I have either of the two SEO plugins that I mentioned, active, the browser tab displays “Archives|[my website title”, rather than “Events…”

Does that make it clearer? Is there any way that I can have the SEO plugins active and yet not have them mess up the browser tab? Or am I stuck with not being able to use an SEO plugin alongside The Events Calendar?

    Thanks!
