I know I still sound nuts, but I looked through every theme listed on my dashboard/appearances/themes…i searched through the alphabetical list and found nothing called “default”.

Should I just reset my entire blog profile? I exported my blog data so I can just load it up again afterward….is there a way to start fresh with it?

I know it sounds crazy but I went to exactly where you said and there’s no “Default” option. I went through every page of custom theme’s and looked at nearly every page….I’m sure it’s not there!

Is it a particular name that isn’t exactly “default”?

hey, thanks for your response and no worries about missing the first url.

After getting it all setup last night i was tired to do anything….so i stopped right after seeing the “plugin” option that I was hoping for.

Is it possible I messed up the mapping or something like that either on GoDaddy or WordPress?

The theme change doesn’t work either…..perhaps I should export my blog data and start fresh on a new wordpress blog, then have it mapped to my godaddy domain? Or would that not do any good?

I could always give you all my login info for you to go into godaddy and also wordpress.com if you know you’re way around, but not sure if that’s OK with you. I’ll do anything to get this up and running after all this effort!

    I guess I’m confused a bit.

That makes sense what you are saying though so I’ll look into it and get back to you if I can’t figure it out.

    Thanks for the help.

I know that it says “wordpress.com” but I know I installed it through Go Daddy immediately. So please don’t think that I didn’t look into this, as I know that WordPress.com will not allow plugins…but perhaps somehow I screwed up settings somewhere.

And in case you need this too, this is my blog which is mapped to my domain.

Even when looking at files installed through Go Daddy, I see a folder labeled “Plugins” that has Akismet inside so I figure it’s setup there…

    thanks.
