In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] Upcoming EventsI see this has already been reported. Here is my sample link for this ordering issue: http://www.tuxedojunctioninc.com/?page_id=271

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] Upcoming EventsThe blog is live as of Saturday (tuxedojunctioninc.com), the upcoming events widget does not have the issues now that I reported when I was simply building and running it on my workstation.
Is there any way to force EC3BigCalendar to display events in time order? I have three events on one day, 7PM, 8PM, 9PM, and they are listed within the big calendar in reverse order 9PM, 8PM, 7PM?

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] Upcoming EventsI think what’s happening is that I have a single post with an event date of every tuesday for the next 2 months. I have upcoming events set to Number of events: 2, instead of showing me the next two dates that have an event. The plugin is showing me all the event dates for the next two posts! One of these post has 19 event dates, so now i have 20 items shown in the Upcoming Events widget.

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] Upcoming EventsI check plugins, I don’t see any caching plugin. I cleared the browser cace. No change.
I changed the number of events from 5 to 1, and now it shows 4 events.
I tried 2, still 4 event show.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

In reply to: Event Calendar 3.2.beta2After reviewing the “Event Calendar Options” more closely, I see if I choose the “Events are Normal Posts” I get the results I was looking for.
Thanks

In reply to: Event Calendar 3.2.beta2My default post category is “uncategorized” the EC3 event category is “general”. So I’m ok on this setup.
But, my post is in two categories “general” (for EC3) and “original”. I also added a unique tag for the post. When I try to display this post from my sidebar Category or Tag widgets. I still get the error “There is no content. Sorry, you’re looking for something that’s not here”, if I chose the “general” category I see the post no problem.
Are you saying the above is working by design?
I don’t really understand the concept of duplicates? Does this mean I can’t have multiple pointers to the same post? two categories and a tag?
I will look at other plugin alternatives as you suggested. If you know of any, please let me know.
Thanks for your help, it is appreciated.

In reply to: Event Calendar 3.2.beta2I’m ok with that design point.
But, what’s happening is that my display events by category widget shows the “original” category with 1 post and the “General” category with 1 post (it’s the same post for both). I can press on the General link in events by category and see the post. When I press on the original link in events by category i get the error message (There is no content…).
I also get this error message if I’m viewing the post, and try and select the category below the title.
If I deactivate Event Calendar, then I can see the post by selecting either category as normal.
So can I have the post in more than one category with EC3? Is this the design?
Thanks
