I managed to get back in by going to the wp-options table and removing the malicious script from the widget_text box which was the same as removing it manually from appearance>widgets in the backend but obviously couldn’t it now as i could’nt access the backend.

yes it is strange as the hack the last time allowed me to change the password and just went ahead and cleared out what i could find and got it back up and running.

I’ve gone into wp_options removed the title that said it had been hacked and changed the charset back from uft-7 to uft8 so from a viewers perspective the site looks fine it’s just i can’t get in to update any of them and the hack removes all the other widgets from the footer so need to add them back.

The hack seems to add a bit of script to an innactive widget so i was hoping to remove that from within the wp_options table in phpmyadmin but what’s in the value boxes isn’t exactly what i thought it would be like the script so i could just remove it. I don’t want to delete the widget text if it does more harm to the site or whether doing that would even fix the issue anyway.
