In reply to: Add new slideI don’t have a plugin installed for the slides. I would have to say it’s part of the theme.

In reply to: Eliminate space between top logo and menu barThanks Johnny
That did improve things some.
Ideally I would like to have the amount of space that is presently there cut in half but it is getting much better.
It’s a bit of a tough one I guess!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Eliminate space between top logo and menu barThanks Jenny
I tried removing the <div class=”fright”> bit but it messed up the page so I put it back.
I changed the padding to 0 but there still appears to be a fair amount of space between the bottom of the logo and the menu bar.The logo itself is cropped off just a matter of a milimeter below the phone number so it’s not the image file taking up that space.

In reply to: Specify height and width of PNG logoYes, I used Photoshop to make the logo.
3 layers with drop shadow, merged the layers and saved as PNG.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Specify height and width of PNG logoYes, I tried saving it as a JPG but when I did so I lost the transparent background I had previously with the PNG. It shows up as a solid white background with the JPG which is not what I wanted.
Everything looked perfect with the PNG.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Eliminate space between top logo and menu barOk, I’ve run into another problem now. After changing it over to a jpg I’ve lost my tansparent background like I had with the png.
If you don’t mind…. how would I go about specifying the height and width of the png file?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Eliminate space between top logo and menu barThanks Jenny
That would be it. I was working on my Mac when I was putting everything together but am now on a PC and I can’t see the logo either. I’ll try converting the logo to a jpg.As far as “I’m seeing a div #widget-header with top-padding of 33px” goes… I have no idea how to change that. Like I said I’m not that great with this kind of stuff. 😉 Where would I go about changing that?
Thanks

In reply to: Eliminate space between top logo and menu barHi, thanks so much for getting back to me.
I added the logo as media and inserted it that way instead of entering the link to the location of the file. It’s working for me on my end so hopefully it will for you too. But I’ve been fooled before! lol
