In reply to: WP not updating DBi think the jquery colorbox for the slider. I know that there is a “slider” tab on the Dashboard and the only plugin that I can see that may even come close to allowing that would be the jQuery Colorbox. There are three themes twenty eleven, twenty ten, custom. I reactivated the custom theme after the update. It looks as it should just without functionality.

In reply to: WP not updating DBOk the update took, now at 3.4.1 with all plugins updated but now the main slider pic isn’t displayed nor do the pages change when I select a different category or anything else that would take me away from the landing page. Thank you for the update help. Any ideas as for what to do now?

In reply to: WP not updating DBForgive my lack of knowledge, but how do I switch themes prior to update then revert after while still maintaining the custom theme in the “Theme” folder? I have only been working with WP for a few months and this will be my first update to the site that I am in charge of.

I will try and locate it as the site is on a godaddy VDED.
Nothing. It appears to load then just stops after about 2 minutes leaving a blank screen and the address of the products section in the address bar. Other than that I get a blank screen.
I’m not trying to be difficult here or come off as having an attitude, just wanted to let you know the steps and outcome of everything that I have tried so far and have no way meant any offense.
Sorry about the length of that. If you need any more information please feel free to ask and I will do my best to provide it for you.
The php.ini file’s limit is set to a high enough rate of “upload_max_filesize = 128M” while the DB is only 43Mb in size and the “memory_limit = 128M” which is almost 3-times that of the DB size. Also, I had disabled all of the plugins(bulk action) then one by one and reactivated them and I was able to access the “Products” section of the dashboard with all of them enabled until the WP HTTPS plugin. It was the only one. The process went like this: Checked all plugins–> Bulk Actions–>Deactivate–>Refresh–>then in this order I reactivated them and the results that relate to each.

In reply to: WP not updating DBThe DB manual plugin disable didn’t work as the property was already set to :0. Renaming the theme used to “-old” didn’t work either. I am ftp-ing the original (3.2.1) back onto the server and going to try after that. I will call the Host and see if the DB will handle the update as well. I had run the update manually from a downloaded .zip file as there is a custom theme in there that I do not want deleted. As an afterthought, could I do an Auto-update then ftp the custom theme into the theme folder?
