In reply to: registration not sending passwordWe have gone over everything that WP has as guidance for intallation and configuration.
We checked with my friend’s hosting service and they confirmed no problem on the server side.
We did check junkmail.
This is the first time we’ve tried a pre made blog program but we are both somewhat experienced at web design and most scripting techniques, although more with PHP and CGI-Perl than ASP…but that should have no affect setting up WP.
No error pops up.
The info is the email has been sent, but doe not arrive.
At the same time the comment counter is not advancing even though we’ve gone over the configurations/set up process a half dozen times.Forum: Fixing WordPress

To write something and never look back is chicken shit.. a personality flaw as you undoubtedly support and perhaps practice.And ooh..you used the word “caio”, how urbane and worldly.
And you know, alot of people shouldn’t profess or act as though they are helpful when all they are is powertripping.
I see your supportive measures go so far as to write me off when I do nothing more than explain a real life situation.
To dismiss it as “people who really shouldn’t be administering their own sites” flies in the face of what WP is supposed to be about.
