I have this problem too and apparently from the numerous posts on this issue it is widespread. I am not terribly familiar with where to put this code but am attempting to try now. I do not wish to have the same number of columns for each of my posts though, so that does worry me.
Why on earth is this still a glitch? It seems they would have fixed it by now.
