Would love to find an answer to this, I have the same problem on a Heart Internet reseller hosting package with any MU installation I create. The slowness varies in length, but it’s always excruciatingly slow.

Thanks for the help, really appreciate it.

Turned them all off, and re-enabling one by one isolated the problem as SEO Smart Links. Even after upgrading that to the latest version, the problem remained, which is a shame as it was a nice plugin otherwise. Anyone got any alternatives they’d recommend?
