    I haven’t. Can’t login, still unresolved.

Alright, I’ll do that. Thanks so much for all of your help.

Double-check the content of wp-config.php again with your actual database access details.

Alright, so assuming I’ve done this correctly (by opening the file in a text editor and checking the password details?) I did notice that the database password in the config file is different. I had reset and changed the password on my hosting account in order to try and access it through MyPhp, though even by typing in that password on MyPhp, it wouldn’t allow access. I’m unsure whether the password updated at all, given that it denied me, but I’m guessing that mucking around with it in the first place certainly didn’t help with this iteration of the process.

I haven’t tried changing anything in the config.php, I wouldn’t even know how. So, I went back to my hosting account and tried changing it to the password in the config.php, only to discover that the password in the file doesn’t jive with the security requirements according to the host.

Is this something I need to contact them about, or do I need to try and make the password match in the config.php somehow?

So, I did a massive re-upload, and according to the FTP, all files transferred successfully. During the process of fixing this, I did reset my database password for the MyPhp app, which never let me in to begin with. I updated that on my hosting account’s control panel, and even after the password update, the MyPhp would not grant me access to the database. Could that be having an effect on the site trying to access the database?

Alright, I uploaded it into the correct directory, and now I just get:

    Error establishing a database connection

    No sir, there is not.

Followed the manual reset link, but couldn’t access the MyPhp thing. No matter how many times I reset my password, it wouldn’t allow me access. So, I skipped that and went right to changing the folder directory for the theme, which had zero effect.

I moved to deleting all the source files on the directory. I searched through every folder, and couldn’t find a wp-config.php. I found a wp-sampleconfig.php, but no config file. Anyways, I left it alone, and left the content directory alone, but deleted everything else. I re-uploaded wordpress to the site (all this is taking place via FTP) and got the following error:

Warning: require(D:\Hosting\10321523\html/wp-includes/class-wp-http-streams.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\Hosting\10321523\html\wp-settings.php on line 197
