In reply to: Can’t Insert Images Using Uploader or OtherwiseI have added the no-flash plugin and I still can’t insert so it’s not my flash causing the problem.
I decided to try it in IE6 (after I did the IE fix) and I got this error when I uploaded:
Specified file failed upload test.
The image uploaded fine. I still can’t insert the image into the post.

In reply to: Can’t Insert Images Using Uploader or OtherwiseI updated my flash player. I did everything that was listed in the sticky thread about this. None of them work. I got the uploader to work once two days ago but now it’s not working again. I have made no changes except some minor template and stylesheet alterations, which shouldn’t affect the admin section. Maybe I will try uninstalling my Flash player and try again. I just can’t understand why it should require flash to upload an image when before you didn’t need flash to upload.

In reply to: Can’t Insert Images Using Uploader or OtherwiseI found at least a way to post images. I just have to do it in html mode and make sure I am in html mode when I click save or publish.
btw turning the mod_security off wouldn’t let me go into html mode. Once I removed it I was fine.

In reply to: Can’t Insert Images Using Uploader or OtherwiseThe mod_security off thing was working yesterday but now when I try to insert an image from the library I get a blank screen. When I upload a new image and try to insert it I get a database connection error.

In reply to: Can’t Insert Images Using Uploader or OtherwiseI tried everything listed in the Sticky post and this one worked:
8. mod_security might be causing problems. Disable it to see if that is the problem. To do this, make an .htaccess file in your wp-admin directory. Add this to it:
<IfModule mod_security.c> SecFilterEngine Off SecFilterScanPOST Off </IfModule>That will disable it for the entire wp-admin directory. It’s possible to be more specific about it, this is just a quick and easy test to see if mod_security is causing your issues.
Does this cause security problems though? What exactly is it doing?

In reply to: Can’t Insert Images Using Uploader or OtherwiseI see there are others who have this problem. But does anyone know a solution to the problem?

In reply to: Comment Database ErrorI just realized that my other blog which is 2.3 has no error messages. It’s using the same hosting so it’s not a host problem. Do I need to clean my database or something? I am at a lost why I am getting this error.

In reply to: Comment Database ErrorIn have search on the site for the answer but everyone else who asked this same question also didn’t get any answers. Is that because there is no answer to this question? If that is the case I will have to downgrade to WordPress 2.2.3, since that was the last time it worked correctly. Which will be a pain since I just finally got all my tags set up on 4 years of blogging.

In reply to: Comment Database ErrorThe error doesn’t effect the posting of comments except for the error message being printed before and after each comments post which is very annoying and has reduced my average amount of comments from 20 to none.

In reply to: Upgraded to 2.2 problems with Kubrick themeActually I tried that before posting. I deactivated all my plug-ins and I still had the problem. I am going to try re-uploading the theme, again, and see if that works.

In reply to: Upgraded to 2.2 problems with Kubrick themeI noticed that it only does it in Firefox. In IE the background goes all the way down but stops short of meeting up with the footer, so there is still a gap.
I would give the url to the site but it’s password protected and I won’t post a password here.
